We came up with “Inclusion, Dreams and Dedication” for an acronym of IDD. I want to share why we picked “Dedication”. Dedication reflects the commitment required from society, caregivers, educators, and policymakers to create supportive environments that empower individuals with IDD. This includes advocating for policies that promote equity and access to resources that help them achieve their dreams. At home, this lifelong commitment plays a vital role in shaping the lives and well-being of individuals with IDD.
